Candle notes

“What are the notes in this candle?” It’s one of the questions I'm asked most often.

Candle notes are the individual fragrances that come together to create the scent you experience. Very few luxury candles contain just one fragrance. Instead, they’re carefully blended layers that create a beautiful, balanced scent profile. Just like a fine perfume, a
candle’s fragrance evolves as it burns.

Top notes: The first impression. These are the scents you notice as soon as you remove the lid.

Heart notes:  The true character of the fragrance, released once the candle has been burning for a while.

Base notes: The deeper, lingering scent that gently remains in the room after the candle has been blown out.

It’s this layering of notes that creates a fragrance that feels rich, elegant and beautifully balanced. Next time you light your candle, notice how the scent unfolds over time. It's all part of the experience.
